IMDS data service

IMDS is the material data system of the automotive industry. The system is an integral part of the initial sample inspection of a product and a normative requirement that applies throughout the entire supply chain. All materials used in vehicle construction are archived and managed in the IMDS. This enables automotive manufacturers and their suppliers to document compliance with their obligations arising from national and international norms, standards, laws and regulations and to communicate these along the supply chain.
